REPORT: Carmelo Anthony “Excited” About Playing For Mike D’Antoni Again
Mike D’Antoni and Carmelo Anthony have a long history together, but it would end on a very sour note after D’Antoni resigned as the head coach of the New York Knicks halfway into the 2011-2012 season.
Time has a way of healing all wounds. Now the two might be brought back together, and neither has a problem with it at all. According to Yahoo Sports’ Jordan Schultz, Melo is not holding any grudges and looks forward to playing for the head coach again.

That seems to be the final nail in the coffin and confirms that Melo will indeed be taking his talents to Houston this offseason.
