USA Today’s SHOCKING Super Bowl Prediction Could Win You a TON Of Money (TWEET)
With the start of the NFL season right around the corner, it’s time for everyone to start making their Super Bowl predictions.
We’ve already heard who Tony Romo thinks will be playing in this year’s big game, as the CBS analyst chose the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars to meet in Super Bowl LIII at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in February. As for the people at USA Today, they decided to make things a little more interesting with their predictions.
After predicting the regular season record for all 32 NFL teams, USA Today whittled down their playoff bracket until only two surprise teams were left standing: the Los Angeles Chargers and the Atlanta Falcons.
The Chargers just missed out on the postseason in 2017 with a 9-7 record, but they should be even better in 2018 thanks to an improving young defense and several playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. As for the Falcons, they’re coming off a season that saw them reach the NFC Divisional Round (before losing to the Philadelphia Eagles), and they’re just a couple of seasons removed from their Super Bowl LI appearance.
Here’s how USA Today sees things shaping up for the 2018 NFL season:
