NHL Player Rips DeMar DeRozan For Being A “Bitter Little Bitch” Over Raptors Trade To Spurs (VIDEO)
Since being traded to the San Antonio Spurs from the Toronto Raptors, DeMar DeRozan has been outspoken and upset about how he was lied to during the summer league by the Raptors front office about not being traded, only to get traded just days later.
The four-time All-Star had become a beloved player in Toronto, even more so after he refused to meet with any other team during his free agency in 2016, just to show his loyalty to the franchise. DeRozan said this week at Team USA minicamp that he was “done” with Raptors GM Masai Ujiri, because he felt disrespected by him for not informing him about the trade ahead of time.
All that talking and complaining seemed to have lit a fire under Milan Lucic’s butt. The Edmonton Oilers winger wanted it to be known that he had zero empathy for DeRozan following the trade. He stated that much in a vulgar rant on a Barstool Sports podcast.
Via CBS Sports:
“He’s being like a little bitter [expletive] at the organization for trading him for Kawhi Leonard…. You didn’t get traded to frickin’ Cleveland. You got traded to San Antonio, a team that competes for a title every year. You get to be coached by the Bill Belichick of basketball with Gregg Popovich. You feel like you’re being disrespected? Come on man, you’re still making $30 million a year living in San Antonio with no state tax. Give me a break, man. Nobody feels bad for you. [Expletive] off.”
