Marshawn Lynch Sat Down During National Anthem vs. Lions (VIDEO)
Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch sat down during the National Anthem on Friday night, joining the slew of NFL players who were clearly unfazed by Trump’s disdain for the protest.
The 32-year-old was spotted seated on the bench during the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner, just as he did throughout the 2017 NFL season. It’s most notable this time around because it came a few hours after Donald Trump tweeted his disapproval of all the players who knelt during Thursday’s games and called for them to be suspended without pay.

Lynch was the only player on the Raiders to protest, while everybody on the Detroit Lions stood for the Anthem.
Other players such as Miami Dolphins wide reviewers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson knelt during a preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while Philadelphia: Eagles’ Malcolm Jenkins raised his fist during the anthem.
