In 2017, Oklahoma Sooners QB Baker Mayfield took home the Heisman trophy and is now starting for the Cleveland Browns in the NFL.
Just one year later, and the Sooners are bringing the Heisman back home for a second straight year quarterback Kyler Murray won the program’s second-straight Heisman on Saturday. Murray is one of three players to eclipse 4,000 passing yards and has accumulated 892 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground as well.

Murray is not likely to play a lick of professional football, not because he doesn’t have the talent, but because he was drafted 9th overall in the MLB Draft by the Oakland Athletics and Baseball money is much better and the sport is much safer.
Aside from the choices he has to make, the Sooners QB now has to deal with internet trolls who decided to rain all over his parade by digging up an assortment of old tweets that might garner a bunch of questions from reporters in the coming days.

Clearly, not even close to being the worst type of tweets we’ve seen from athletes over the past few years. It should also be noted that these tweets were from 2012 and Murray was 15-years-old at the time.
