Over the weekend, Kevin Durant captured his 2nd-career all-star game MVP as he gets ready to try and win his 3rd NBA title as member of the Golden State Warriors.
Greg Oden, the guy was selected ahead of him in the NBA Draft, is trying to resurrect his career, but not in the NBA, rather the BIG3 League.
Oden, whose injury-plagued NBA career was limited to 105 games, has entered his name into the BIG3 basketball league draft pool, in hopes of joining the 3-on-3 legends/retiree league founded by Ice Cube.
Oden last played professionally in the Chinese Basketball Association, where the 7-foot center averaged 13 points, 12.6 rebounds and two blocks, but was cut after 25 games.
Oden wasn’t selected in last year’s BIG3 draft, but with the addition of two more teams, it increases his chances of making it this time around.
