Back in January, Cardinals’ WR Larry Fitzgerald announced that he would enter his 16th NFL season at age 36.
The soon-to-be hall of famer is the epitome of what you want in a wide receiver, teammate, and just an overall man. He also makes sure to stay in tip-top shape to compete with the young guns on his team and on the opposing team.
On Tuesday, Arizona Diamondbacks player Eduardo Jose Escobar posted a picture alongside the Cardinals great and Fitzgerald was looking more like a linebacker than a WR.
Don’t hurt em, Fitz!
Fitzgerald is guaranteed an $11 million base salary with the potential to earn up to an additional $1 million in incentives in 2019.
This past season, Fitzgerald passed Terrell Owens for the second-most receiving yards in NFL history (16,279), sitting behind only Jerry Rice.
