Another day, just another instance where the Steelers organization is looking real funny in the light.
It took some time but it seems that Antonio Brown was ready to put the Pittsburgh Steelers drama behind him and focus on getting set to play for the Oakland Raiders for the foreseeable future.
Just when it seemed like it would be peace, another former Steelers star decided to randomly interject himself into the conversation.
Former Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall took to Twitter and decided he wanted to speak in favor of Antonio Brown in a series of tweets:
That’s when his tweets took a drastic turn when he decided to call Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger a racist.
3 hours later, he decided to backpedal on what he said while asking everyone to be fair in this situation:
There’s no telling why Mendenhall decided to spew this randomly on Twitter and not provide any examples as to why he would refer to Big Ben as a racist and then all of a sudden backpedal hours later.
This entire situation needs to go away.
