Brian Banks, Once Wrongfully Convicted for Rape, Being Sued for Allegedly Masturbating in Front of Maid

The name Brian Banks might sound familiar because this is the same guy that had his career turned upside down after a classmate accused of him of rape in 2002 where he would serve 5 years in prison.

Several years later, his accuser admitted she made the whole thing up and his conviction would be overturned in 2012. He would then go on to sign with the Atlanta Falcons and was released in 2013.

Now, he has another allegation to deal with.

Banks is now being sued by a woman who claims she was hired to clean his apartment but instead he masturbated in front of her, according to The Blast.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a woman named Lidija Jovanovic claims Banks contacted her on February 12, 2018 in response to her advertisement for house cleaning services. She says he booked her for the following day.

Once she arrived, Jovanovic claims Banks locked his “attack dog” in the upstairs bedroom so that she could clean his apartment in peace.

She claims that during the course of her cleaning, Banks “sat on the couch, took his penis out of his pants, began masturbating in front of Plaintiff, and stated, ‘Don’t mind me, just continue cleaning.’”

Due to his size — Banks is reportedly 6’3″ tall and weighs 250 pounds — she says she was “fearful for her safety.”

Jovanovic says she tried to ignore Banks but then claims he turned his laptop towards her to show that he was watching pornography and asked her “to help him masturbate.”

She says she declined and claims Banks responded by bringing his “attack dog” downstairs to intimidate her.

“Fearful for her life,” Jovanovic says she agreed to sit next to Banks on his couch and claims he again tried to coerce her to help him masturbate. She says she again refused and said she wanted to leave and that he did not have to pay her.

“In response,” she claims, “Defendant astonishingly asked to pay Plaintiff for sex.”

She says she declined, walked with him to a public ATM, where he paid her for the housecleaning and she left.”

Jovanovic is claiming to be traumatized by the incident and suffering from nightmares and PTSD. She is said to be “no longer cleaning homes alone, fearful she might get assaulted or raped.”

She is suing for $10,000,000 in damages.
