Eli Manning Seems To Be Pissed Off About The Giants Drafting QB Daniel Jones

Trouble in NYC!

Last week, the New York Giants shocked everybody when they selected QB Daniel Jones with the No. 6 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, a move that is definitely looked at as being the eventual guy to replace Eli Manning behind center.

The Giants began their rookie mini-camp Friday, so it was officially Day 1 of practice for likely successor to Eli Manning.

According to NJ.com, Jones completed 7 of 10 passes in 7-on-7 drills and completed 3 of 7 passes in 11-on-11 team periods.

Seems all well and good, but we still hadn’t heard a peep from Eli Manning about the situation.

On Saturday, head coach Pat Shurmur revealed how the starting quarterback reacted to the news of the Giants drafting a quarterback in the top-10.

“He had no response,” Shurmur said to reporters.

Despite drafting Jones really high, Manning is still expected to be the team’s starting quarterback entering the 2019 season.
