Last week, the Seattle Seahawks sent shock waves when they suddenly parted ways with safety Kam Chancellor and WR Doug Baldwin.
Baldwin’s release was more imminent sine he had been dealing with various injuries that had his career in question, having undergone three surgeries since the end of the 2018 season.
On Sunday, Baldwin answered those questions when he took to Twitter and announced his retirement by penning a letter to his younger self.
This is the end.
Baldwin finishes his career with 493 receptions, 6,593 receiving yards, and 49 touchdowns and was a huge part of the 2013 Superbowl team that beat Peyton Manning’s Broncos 43-8.
