The Golden State warriors had plans for their new stadium in San Francisco. It was supposed to be opened after winning yet another title, but those hopes were dashed after the Toronto Raptors beat them in six games.
Their biggest plan was to also have Kevin Durant re-sign with the franchise, but that was also crushed when he took his talents to the Brooklyn Nets this offseason.
The team now enters the 2019-2020 season fan favorites gone, Klay Thompson not returning until sometime in 2020, and a cast of doubts on whether they can be the same franchise they were before Durant showed up.
Either way, the new stadium is going to open up, and a photo has seemingly leaked of what appears to be the home court inside the new stadium.
There doesn’t seem to be a glaring difference to how their court looks now at Oracle Arena, other than ‘San Francisco’ being written on the baseline.
This is how Oracle Arena’s court looks like:
Chase Center in San Francisco is still expected to be rocking just like Oracle Arena was for all those years.
