Dolphins Coach is Extremely Critical of Josh Rosen’s Bad Body Language

Josh Rosen was hoping for a fresh start with the Miami Dolphins after the Arizona Cardinals decided to give up on him after one season and draft Kyler Murray a few months ago.

Unfortunately for him, it seems like he’s been a few steps behind Ryan Fitzpatrick on the depth chart all offseason.

Fitzpatrick was listed as the starting quarterback ahead of Miami’s first preseason game last week, and he continues to get first-team reps in practice.

Dolphins head coach Brian Flores described the former UCLA star’s performance as “OK” to reporters on Tuesday, and also noted he needs to improve his body language.

Being the back-up allowed Rosen to get more playing time than Fitzpatrick and it showed in his numbers, as he completed 13-of-20 passes for 191 yards, but it came with a brutal interception.

Not a good look for a guy the Dolphins gave up two draft picks for to acquire him back in April.
