Could the New York Giants actually be thinking about trading away Eli Manning?

With the emergence of Daniel Jones at quarterback, the veteran QB and future hall of famer might be slated to ride the bench for the remainder of the season after starting off the year 0-2.

Sports Radio host Dan Sileo took to Twitter on Tuesday and reported that the Giants have actually fielded calls on trades for him and the teams include the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

As noted in the tweet, no trade can happen unless Eli approves it, because of his no-trade clause.

The 38-year-old is in the final year of his five-year, $101.5 million contract that included $65 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $11.5 million for the 2019 season.

In his two games played, Eli completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 556 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
