Todd Gurley remained out of practice Thursday with his quadriceps injury, which marked the 1st time Gurley has appeared on the team’s injury report.
During his weekly press conference, Gurley showed up wearing a shirt with a message that was directly aimed at the NCAA and how they treat athletes.
Just recently, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the Fair Pay To Play Act, which opens the door for college athletes in that state to collect money from endorsement deals without fear of losing their NCAA eligibility or scholarships.
It will go into effect in January 2023, which will give the NCAA and every state a 3-year window to figure out how they will respond.
