Social Media Rips Booger McFarland For Mentioning O.J. Simpson As An All-Time NFL Great (VIDEO + TWEETS)

Booger McFarland is used to being blasted by fans during every Monday Night Football telecast, but this time around, he’s being blasted for mentioning a name not many fans think should ever receive praise.

During the Saints-Colts game, Booger listed off some NFL greats after Drew Brees passed Peyton Manning on the all-time passing touchdowns list. His list included normal names such as Tom Brady, Jim Brown, Jerry Rice, and O.J. Simpson.

Social media was not feeling this at all.

If you’re too young to remember, O.J. Simpson was embroiled in the trial of the century as he was accused and ultimately found not guilty of the slashing deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman.

He escaped prison time that time around, but karma eventually came his way when he was sentenced to 33 years in prison in 2008 after being found guilty in a robbery case.

On July 20, 2017, Simpson was granted parole and released in October 2017.
