Delonte West has hit yet another low in his life after the NBA.
His mental health has been bad since he was a teenager and has only gotten worse over the years. Despite making upwards of $14 million in the NBA, West now appears to be homeless in Washington D.C.
On Monday, two disturbing videos popped up online showing West being beaten and stomped in the streets by an unknown man for an unknown reason.
He would then be handcuffed and asked a series of questions by officers, to which he would reply by not making much sense at all.
Hours after those videos surfaced, his good friend and former teammate at Saint Joseph’s University Jameer Nelson took to Twitter and responded
Delonte spent time in a medical facility back in 2016, but nothing seems to have worked in his favor. Hopefully, this latest episode will get people out to try and help him get better and off the streets.
