No New England Patriots player will be in the Super Bowl this year, but a former one will definitely be nearby.
Rob Gronkowski is throwing a big-time beach bash during Super Bowl week and he wants everyone to join him. Well, not everyone.
The former Patriots tight end dropped a hilarious video promoting his beach party, in which he uses a Lombardi Trophy to pretend to talk on the phone with Julian Edelman, Tom Brady and even Bill Belichick to invite them to his party.
He switched it up when he got to Roger Goodell.
“Hello? Oh, Roger man,” Gronk says into his fake phone, the smile quickly disappearing from his face. “What’s up, man? I am not having a party. I swear. All right. Yeah, no party. Take care.”
That seems like a little bit of a shot from the whole Deflategate scandal that got Tom Brady suspended for four games.
Roger or no Roger — Gronk is going to have some fun.
