Jeremy Roenick Fired From NBC For Joking About Threesome With Wife & Colleague Kathryn Tappen (VIDEO)

Back in late December, NBC Sports suspended hockey commentator Jeremy Roenick after comments he made on a Barstool Sports podcast about some of his on-air coworkers at NBC.

He is now out of a job.

Roenick made that announcement himself in a video posted to Twitter Wednesday afternoon.

“I’m very disappointed and angry today. I will not be returning to NBC,” Roenick said in the video he captioned, “What a joke!”

While appearing on the popular hockey podcast, Roenick discussed a vacation to Portugal with his wife and Kathryn Tappen where he joked about the possibility of the three of them having sex together. Roenick said they went on vacation together because his wife, Tracy, and Tappen are good friends. When another resort guest asked about the situation, he recalled, “I play it off like we’re going to bed together every night, the three of us.”

“If it really came to fruition, that would really be good, but it’s never going to happen,” Roenick said.

“Ass and boobs everywhere, it’s great. It’s great,” Roenick said about his wife and Tappen. “By the way, if you’re going to go [on vacation] with two blondes, go someplace in the summer where the pool is at.”

Roenick played 20 NHL seasons with the Blackhawks, Coyotes, Flyers, Sharks and Kings before taking his talents to TV.
