You just knew sooner or later that Charles Barkley was going to respond to Draymond Green.
The TNT analyst was caught up to by TMZ Sports and asked about the comments from the Golden State warriors star.
Green previously warned Barkley that if he didn’t keep quiet, he would soon take his job.
“Barkley should stop before I take his job, though.” said the Warriors star. “…He also can’t talk basketball with me either. Not smart enough, not qualified. No rings, can’t sit at this table.”
Barkley implied that Draymond was too ugly for a TV gig.
“I think [Draymond is] a good player and a great guy,” Barkley told TMZ Sports. “I like messing with him but he’s got the perfect face for radio!
“He don’t have a TV face! He could do the job but he doesn’t have a face for TV.”
The ongoing war of words between these two will likely never stop. Even though Green can talk with the best of them, he is no match to take the place of the beloved Charles Barkley.
