Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs stirred up a bunch of potential trade drama during the 2019 season as well as the offseason with his actions, and it seems to have taken it to the next level.
The 26-year-old was seen wearing a long-sleeve shirt Arizona Cardinals shirt while working out.
One could speculate just about anything. He told reporters in October about how frustrated he was with the Vikings not winning and was even seen being visably upset on the sidelines from not being targeted in a playoff game that they were winning.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said in October that teams were calling the Vikings “like crazy” about Diggs, but that the team had no intention to trade him.
“Stefon last year had probably his most productive year,” Vikings GM Rick Spielman said at the recent NFL Combine. “And he’s a young receiver we just extended. And he’s not only a major part of our offense and a major part of our organization wining games, but he also does a lot of things for this organization off the field, as well. So there’s no reason, or the rumors or whatever you’re talking about, to anticipate that Stefon Diggs is not going to be a Minnesota Viking.”
Now we wait what happens from here.
