Byron Jones got paid.
On Monday, the Miami Dolphins made a big signing in free agency when they inked former Dallas Cowboys CB Byron Jones to a reported record contract for his position.
Only thing that was missing was the actual numbers on the deal. We know have those numbers and they are massive.
Adam Schefter reports that Jones is signing a five-year, $82.5 million contract that includes $57 million with the Dolphins.
The Dolphins now have two of the top highest paid cornerbacks in the entire league.
The 27-year-old appeared in 15 games and recorded 46 tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and six passes defended during the 2019 season.
