Wonderlic scores for this year’s NFL Draft quarterback prospects were leaked out on Friday and people were in shock that Tua Tagovailoa came in dead last with a score of 13.
Iowa quarterback Nate Stanley had the top score with a 40, but Jake Fromm from Georgia didn’t have the second-best score.
What was previously reported:
Justin Herbert actually scored a 39 on the Wonderlic and Tua had a 19.
NFL insider Albert Breer confirmed Notre Dame wideout Chase Claypool’s comments on Twitter. Jalen Hurts, Brian Lewerke, Jake Luton also had higher scores than previously reported.
Now that we have that cleared up, hopefully Tua will be evaluated correctly going into the 2020 NFL Draft. Despite the correction on the Wonderlic, he still has concerns surrounding his injury history from his time back at Alabama.
Tagovailoa completed 69.3 percent of his throws for 7,442 yards with 87 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 32 appearances for Bama.
