Dennis Rodman and his relationship with Carmen Electra was on full display during Sunday’s two installments of The Last Dance. We heard all about Rodman needing a vacation to Las Vegas to unwind and how his girlfriend Carmen Electra tried to hide when Michael Jordan himself went to pull Rodman out of bed.
There was even more stuff that happened that wasn’t revealed in those episodes.
Electra told the Los Angeles Times that the two once had sex “all over” the Bulls’ practice facility.
“One day when the Bulls had an off day from practicing, Dennis said he had a surprise for me,” Electra told the paper. “He blindfolds me and we get on his motorcycle. When he finally takes my blindfold off, we’re standing at the Bulls practice facility, center court. It was crazy, like two kids in a candy store. We were eating Popsicles from the fridge and pretty much having sex all over the damn place — in the physical therapy room, in the weight room. Obviously on the court.”
“To be honest, I don’t think he’s ever worked out so hard in his life,” she added with a laugh.
The 48-year-old Electra stated she first met Rodman at a nightclub and after giving the Bulls star her number, she would proceed to never return his calls. Once she finally did, the romance quickly took off as noted in the fourth episode of “The Last Dance,” ESPN’s Bulls documentary.
“He was the bad boy of basketball. He dated Madonna. The next thing I know, he’s inviting me to get on a flight to Chicago and see him play,” Electra said. “Seeing the Bulls play was amazing. Michael and Scottie Pippen. That first night in Chicago, Dennis told me, ‘You’re not leaving.’ After that, it was quick. We fell for each other pretty fast.”
“I was in my 20s. I was down for drinking and going to the clubs,” said Electra, whom Rodman tried to get on the team plane; the request was denied. “I ended up becoming one of the boys. He wanted me to go to all the games and everywhere with him. Every time I would leave Chicago, I would be on the plane and I’d start crying because I missed him.”
Just another reason why there’s nobody in the NBA these days quite like Dennis Rodman.
