David Wells is quite familiar with Curt Schilling as they both played on the same team and against each other during their respective careers. Whatever friendship they might’ve had back then has since gone down in the dumps since retiring.
On Wednesday, a Twitter user asked Wells if there was a player who played in the same era as him who was “generally disliked by most other players.”
Wells didn’t hesitate to call out Schilling.
Schilling rubbed a lot of people the wrong way during his career and especially after it.
He eventually got around to seeing the jab, so he fired back.
“At least tag me ya little b—-,” Schilling wrote in response.

Schilling’s controversial views is the reason the Red Sox didn’t invite him to a commemorative ceremony. He also blasted them as a result.
Back in 2016, Schilling stirred up controversy with an anti-transgender meme and comments he posted on Facebook and he was fired by ESPN as a result.
“ESPN is an inclusive company. Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated,” ESPN said in a statement.
