Jack Del Rio came out swinging on Tuesday night, tweeting his support for President Donald Trump and retweeting a fake picture attributed to Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
That was only the tip of the iceberg on his feelings about certain things.
Social media then noticed that the Washington Redskins defensive coordinator ‘liked’ a few tweets that raised quite a few eyebrows.
One of which called for protestors toppling over statues to be arrested and calling them domestic terrorists.
He also liked another tweet from Candace Ownes that stated the Bubba Wallace noose situation was just another case of a hoax gone wild.
Del Rio, who returned to the NFL in January as part of Ron Rivera’s coaching staff in Washington, was fired by the Raiders in 2017 after a 6-10 season.
The move came after he and the franchise agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension in February after he helped the franchise secure its first playoff berth since 2002.
