Jarrett Stidham is making it so much easier for head coach Bill Belichick to make his decision on the team’s starting quarterback during training camp.
The New England Patriots quarterback is in the midst of a competition with Cam Newton for the starting job, but it’s looking like a blowout in Cam’s favor as Stidham can’t seem to stop throwing balls to the defense.
He would then add two more the following day.
On Thursday, it only got worse as he threw two interceptions in a row – to Myles Bryant and Justin Bethel – and neither throw was great.
Overall, Stidham finished 2/6 with two interceptions. His two completions went to J.J. Taylor and Devin Ross. After four days, he’s 29/43 (67%) with seven interceptions.
