It’s only one game, but things were supposed to be different with Jason Garrett gone and Mike McCarthy in charge, especially with the offense.

Such was not the case as the team only scored 17 points against the Rams, and only 3 in the entire second half. On top of that, his decision to go for it on 4th & 3 instead of going for a chip shot field goal ultimately would cost the team the game as they lost by 3.

After the loss, there was an alarming amount of Cowboys fans already calling for his firing after one game.

In the final minute of the game, Michael Gallup had a questionable pass interference when he extended his arm against Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, wiping out a big play that would have put Dallas in field-goal range in the final seconds.

Taking three points earlier would have made it a different game at the end.
