Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson has a first-degree knee sprain, head coach Pete Carroll revealed Monday on ESPN Radio.
It was the result of Cowboys defensive tackle Trysten Hill grabbing ahold of his leg and purposely twisting it well after the play was blown dead.
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy was aksed about the play on Monday, and he actually stated there was zero intent on Hill’s part to injure the running back.
That is just not a good take to have on a move that could’ve ended that man’s career.
“I was really pissed about that one,” Pete Carroll said, via ESPN 710’s Jessamyn McIntyre. … “He really hurt him.”
Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright took to Twitter to voice his anger with the play, calling it “clearly intentional” and asking for a harsher punishment for Hill.
