Lakers On Verge of Blockbuster Trade For Thunder’s Dennis Schroder
The Los Angeles Lakers are on their way to getting even better for next season.
On Sunday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the defending champs ‘are in advanced talks with Oklahoma City” for a trade to acquire guard Dennis Schroder.
In that deal, Danny Green and the No. 28 pick has been discussed as being sent back to OKC.
The deal is expected to be completed on Monday.
During the 2019-20 NBA season with the Thunder, Schroder ended up averaging 18.9 points per game to go along with 4.0 assists and 3.6 rebounds. He shot 46.9 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 38.5 percent of his three-point attempts.
At 27 years old, Schroder is in his prime and would be a valuable asset for the Lakers.
