Raheem Mostert doesn’t give a damn about your fantasy team.
Coach Kyle Shanahan announced Tuesday that the 49ers were shutting running back Raheem Mostert down for the season after he suffered another high ankle sprain in San Francisco’s Week 15 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
It’s been a tough year for Mostert as he injured his knee during the 49ers’ Week 2 win over the New York Jets and then suffered a high ankle sprain of the 49ers’ Week 6 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
On top of that, he logs on social media to see fans blasting him, because he’s not helping them in their fantasy leagues.
On Monday, the San Francisco 49ers running back had finally had enough:
On the season, Mostert averaged 5 yards per carry and scored three touchdowns on just 120 touches.
