The Browns have a COVID-19 issue.
The Cleveland Browns announced Saturday that they’ve placed WR Rashard Higgins, WR KhaDarel Hodge, WR Jarvis Landry, WR Donovan Peoples-Jones and LB Jacob Phillips on the COVID-19 list. They will not be able to play on Sunday against the Jets.
In return, the team was forced to promote WR Ja’Marcus Bradley, LB Montrel Meander and WR Derrick Willies to their active roster.
The WR’s that were forced to sit out have been deemed High-Risk-Close-Contacts.
The game against the Jets will still be played, and the Browns have a chance to clinch the division for the first time in 18 years with a victory.
