Justin Thomas Caught Using Egregious Homophobic Slur After Missing Putt (VIDEO)

Justin Thomas is receiving some well deserved backlash after he was heard using a homophobic slur on the course.

The No.3 golfer in the world currently was playing at a PGA Tour tournament in Hawaii over the weekend when a hot mic picked up him using an inappropriate homophobic term.

“Fa–ot.”

Since that moment, Thomas has since apologized for his actions.

“There’s no excuse. I’m an adult. I’m a grown man. There’s absolutely no reason for me to say anything like that. It’s terrible. I’m extremely embarrassed. It’s not the kind of person that I am … But unfortunately, I did it and I have to own up to it, and I’m very apologetic. I deeply apologize to everybody and anybody who I offended, and I’ll be better because of it,” Thomas said in an on-air apology with the Golf Channel.

PGA also released a statement that said, “As he expressed after his round, we agree that Justin’s comment was unacceptable.”
