Wrestling Legend Mark Henry Speaks Out On Social Media Comparing Him To James Harden (TWEET)
James Harden eventually got what he wanted when the Houston Rockets not only traded him, but sent him to the Brooklyn Nets alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
There have been talks of Harden being out of shape this season since finally showing up to camp for the Rockets. Soon after his trade, social media started making jokes about him looking like wrestling legend Mark Henry in his Nets’ uniform.
Soon, the man Mark Henry would be contacted about it, and he was more than fine with it.
In the trade, the Houston Rockets receives Brooklyn’s three unprotected first-round draft picks in the deal — in 2022, 2024 and 2026 — plus pick swaps in 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2027. The Rockets also get Cleveland’s 2022 first-round pick, via the Milwaukee Bucks.
The trade was agreed to after the Rockets opted to keep Harden away from Wednesday’s practice, following the former MVP’s comments Tuesday that Houston isn’t “good enough” to compete for a championship.
The Nets are scheduled to visit the Rockets on March 3rd.
