Chad Wheeler Releases Lengthy Statement On Twitter Over Domestic Violence, Says It Was ‘Manic Episode’ (TWEETS)

Chad Wheeler is public enemy No. 1 after he was arrested for the brutal assault of his girlfriend.

On Wednesday, the former backup offensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks took to Twitter and apologized to his girlfriend and everybody else, while vowing to step away from football and get the help he needs from what he called was a ‘manic episode.’

The Seattle Seahawks stated on Wednesday that he is no longer with the team following his arrest on suspicion of felony assault-domestic violence.

The 27-year-old Wheeler is accused of choking his girlfriend until she lost consciousness after he asked her to bow to him. At one point, he removed his hand to press it against her nose and mouth to try to stop her from breathing while continuing to choke her with his other hand.

When the woman regained consciousness, according to the report, Wheeler was standing near the bed and said, “Wow, you’re alive?”

Hopefully, he gets the help he needs by getting put in prison for a very long time.
