Von Miller’s storied career in Denver could soon be coming to an end.

According to recent reports, the Broncos are expected to decline the 31-year-old linebacker’s option for 2021, making him a free agent. Miller was set to make $17.5 million next season, along with a $500,000 workout bonus.

The team has until March 16 to decline Miller’s option, at which point $7 million becomes guaranteed to the eight-time Pro Bowler. But the move could happen much sooner than that.

Miller would join the recently released J.J. Watt, along with plenty of other big name superstars in this offseson’s free agent market.

Von was drafted second overall by the Broncos in the 2011 draft. He spent 10 seasons with the club, winning Super Bowl 50 and earning MVP honors in the big game as well.

Of course, there is still the chance that Miller stays in the Mile High City as well, if the two sides can agree on a restructured deal.

Stay tuned.
