JJ Watt Lays Out The 3 Reasons Why He Chose The Cardinals In Free Agency
The NFL world is still reeling from J.J. Watt making his free agency decision to sign with the Arizona Cardinals.
Not only is the team on the rise, but they also paid him $23 million to do his job well next season and beyond. Money wasn’t the only factor in the decision.
The former Texans defensive end gave three reasons as to why he signed with the Cardinals: Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins and defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.
Watt also mentioned the weather in Arizona as well.
“I’m also not going to lie to you. It’s nice when it’s 65 and sunny when I woke up this morning,” he said.
Last season, the Cardinals finished the season 8-8 and just missed the playoffs. The team is hoping Watt is the key that puts them over.
