Jadeveon Clowney has been a free agent so long, that you likely didn’t even remember he was still up for grabs this offseason.

On Sunday, Josina Anderson reported that the Cleveland Browns are working to arrange another visit with the free agent for Monday.

“I’m told the Browns are working to arrange another visit with free agent edge-rusher Jadeveon Clowney for Monday, at this time, per source.”

According to Jonathan Jones, the belief is that both sides will reach an agreement on a deal Monday.

“Indeed. The belief is both sides will ultimately strike a deal Monday, per sources.”

During Clowney’s last free agency in 2020, the Browns were reportedly his best multi-year offer, but he opted to bet on himself and sign a one-year, $13M deal with the Titans. Injuries limited him to just playing eight games.

In 2020, Clowney appeared in eight games for the Titans and recorded 19 tackles, no sacks, a forced fumble and four passes defended.
