Bryce Harper Forced Out of Game After Getting Hit In The Face With 97-MPH Fastball (VIDEO)
Bryce Harper had to leave tonight’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals after he got drilled in the face by a 97 MPH fastball from St. Louis reliever Genesis Cabrera.
He was said to be bleeding but was able to walk off of the field on his own.
Joe Girardi would soon get ejected from the game after Bryce Harper and Didi Gregorius were hit with pitches.
The 28-year-old is off to an incredible start to the season, mashing at a .321/.448/.615 clip with six home runs over his first 96 plate appearances.
