Social media influencer Addison Rae is being bashed this week by people taking major issue with the “Keeping Up With the Kardashian” guest star landing a gig as a red carpet correspondent for the UFC.
The 20-year-old posted two photos of herself working as a UFC reporter on Twitter, along with the caption, “I studied broadcast journalism in college for 3 whole months to prepare for this moment.”
Distractify added Addison attended Louisiana State University for a brief period where she studied sports broadcasting.
“Stealing jobs from those more deserving, very classy,” wrote one follower.
“I can’t tell you how many talented and hardworking journalists I’ve watched not get opportunities because they don’t have ‘ the camera looks ‘ it’s unbelievable.”
Another outraged tweeter wrote, “the AUDACITY.. do you know how many people who are more trained and qualified who have been studying this and putting their WHOLE life savings into college that you took this away from. i have a friend who studied for SIX YEARS only to have thus shoved in her face. disgusting.”
She would later state that she got fired, but not entirely sure if that was true.
The influencer has released her own song, is planning her debut album, and is even starring in the movie ‘He’s All That’ which is due to release on August 27.
