Aaron Rodgers Gives In-Depth Explanation Of Why He’s Frustrated With Green Bay Packers Organization During Press Conference (VIDEO)
After a ton of offseason drama, it was reported on Tuesday that, not only had Aaron Rodgers showed up to Green Bay Packers training camp, but that the two sides were nearing a deal to cement A-Rod’s return to Lambeau for one final season in 2021.
The new deal will apparently pave the way for Rodgers’ exit in 2022, essentially making the 2021 NFL season his “Last Dance” with the Packers.
Don’t be fooled, though. Just because the two sides came to an agreement, doesn’t mean things are all good between Rodgers and Green Bay. In fact, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
On Wednesday, Aaron Rodgers stepped up to the podium to field questions from the media, and he made it perfectly clear that things are still not cool between himself and the Packers’ front office. And when he was challenged on that front, he didn’t shy away from explaining in full detail why he’s angry at the organization.
At one point, Rodgers was asked why he wants to be involved in the decision-making process? The reporter went so far as to remind Aaron that most of the players who the Packers have dumped have gone on to regress in their new homes — which is to suggest that the Packers’ front office have been making the right moves.
Well, Rodgers has another perspective on the manner. And it’s actually a pretty good one.
Here’s what he had to say:
When you put it like that, it’s hard not to agree with Rodgers. The man has three MVPs and a Super Bowl. Teams have afforded more say to much lesser players in the past.
