Brittany Matthews and Randi Mahomes were very active on Twitter on Sunday.
Patrick Mahomes is arguably the best quarterback in the NFL, but he doesn’t like to talk about it. Instead, his brother, fiancee and mother pretty much do the talking for him.
Following the big victory on Sunday against the Washington Football Team, his soon to be wife, Brittany Matthews, got into a Twitter feud with a fan who told her to stop complaining so much during the game.
“Pretty sure you aren’t the ref. You’re high school boyfriend has gotten paid WAY too much money and it’s showing in his performance. Why care when he’s locked into a 10 year 545 million dollar contract? Just shut up, YOU ARE EMBARRASSING”
Matthews fired right back:
“Does this make you feel tough behind a fake account??? I’m all for building confidence, so if this is what you have to do then go for it. you ain’t disturbing my peace”
Earlier in the day, his mother took to Twitter to support her son after he threw an interception.
Randi might not be as active as her future daughter-in-law, but when she does log on, she makes it known.
During the Chiefs-Browns matchup in the 2021 NFL playoffs, she tweeted that Mack Wilson’s hit on Mahomes was “trash football.” She also blamed her son’s poor Super Bowl performance on the referees.
One of tweets made it on ESPN when she told ESPN’s Louis Riddick during the 2020 NFL season to stop calling her son “Pat”, as he prefers to be called Patrick.
