Ty Montgomery has been taken to the locker room with a horrible finger injury.
The 28-year-old New Orleans Saints wide receiver/running back suffered a severe pinky finger while going to the turf on Sunday afternoon in Tennessee. He was forced to head to the tent for repairs. He’s currently listed as questionable to return to the game.
Coming into the game, Ty Montgomery had 3 catches for eleven yards.
The Saints entered the contest already shorthanded at the running back position. Not only is Alvin Kamara out with a knee injury, but they’re also without Tony Jones Jr., who’s on I.R. after starting the year as Kamara’s backup. Mark Ingram entered week 10 as the Saints’ lead back, while Montgomery was expected to take some snaps in the backfield as well.
