Mike Tice, who coached the Vikings from 2002 to 2005, had something to say after watching his former team lose to the lowly Detroit Lions.
Detroit stunned the NFC North rival on Sunday, with Jared Goff firing an 11-yard touchdown pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown as time expired to lift the Lions over Minnesota, 29-27, claiming their first win of the 2021 season.
Aside from the people who were happy for the Lions, was the other side of people who were pissed off about the Vikings dropping to 5-7 after the lost to the previously winless team.
Mike Tice was one of them.
“Really. F—ing Detroit. Even my sorry ass NEVER lost to Detroit,” Tice wrote.
There are a lot of things to be upset about in Minnesota, which includes being down 20-6 at halftime and digging themselves a hole that ultimately became way too much to overcome.
The walk-off win marks the first “W” of first-year coach Dan Campbell’s tenure in Motown, improving the Lions to 1-10-1 on the year.
The Vikings’ playoff hopes took a huge shot.
