Talk about being salty. After giving up 20 points to Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins offense earlier on Sunday, New York Giants defensive back thought it would be a good time to take some shots at the Miami QB.
Tua completed 30 of his 41 pass attempts for 244 yards and two touchdowns, but that didn’t seem to impress Ryan. While speaking with the media after the game, the former Patriots and Titans cornerback to claimed that he could throw two-yard passes all game like like the Fins’ signal caller.
After claiming he was an emergency quarterback in high school, Ryan told reporters, “I’m a lot like Tua, I can throw two yard passes to the left.”
I’m not sure what game Ryan was watching, but when he may end up retracting his statement once he goes back to watch game film and sees this pass from Tua…
…Or this pass…
Logan Ryan was in coverage on both of those, and Tua beat him in both instances with a perfectly placed ball that traveled well more than two yards downfield.
If Ryan’s really insulting Tua’s abilities, while also getting beat by him, what does that say about the Giants’ corner?
