Buffalo Bills safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer were already upset about losing a game where they only gave up 14 points, but it got made even worse by one question after the game.
Mac Jones threw the ball a total of three times during the game, and WIVB reporter Jerry Sullivan asked the pair if losing in such a fashion was “embarrassing.”
Both players were stunned by it and lashed out in response. Before getting up and leaving, Hyde pointed out he always shows up to answer questions and felt disrespected by the exchange.
The Bills had a chance to win with two drives in the red zone in the fourth quarter but came away without a point on each of them.
Mac Jones only threw for 19 yards. It wasn’t Buffalo’s defense that lost this game, it was the stagnant offense that could do nothing right.
The only touchdown for the team came only after a muffed punt by the Patriots.
The Bills are now just 3-4 in their last seven games and looking up at the Patriots in the AFC East standings.
