Carson Wentz is not starting out this week very well.
The Washington Commanders quarterback is seemingly boosting the confidence of the defense by throwing multiple interceptions.
According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post, “[Carson] Wentz threw back-back picks, first to Kendall Fuller and then to Kam Curl. On the second one, Wentz overthrew 6-5 TE Cole Turner before Curl caught it.”
There is a reason why the Colts came out so strong in their regrets of trading for the veteran QB. If Wentz doesn’t get it together this year, it will likely be his final time to prove that he is starter worthy in the league.
In 2021, Wentz appeared in all 17 games for the Colts and completed 62.4 percent of his passes for 3,563 yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also rushed for 215 yards and one touchdown.
