So far, no team has made a substantial enough offer to make the Brooklyn Nets pull the trigger on a blockbuster trade for their franchise player Kevin Durant. To be honest, that mega deal is unlikely to happen as the Nets are trying to break the bank and no team is willing to part ways with so much, even for a player like Kevin Durant.
Durant requested a trade from the Nets, but it’s looking more likely they he will be playing alongside Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons this upcoming season.
Well, it appears Durant is putting in the work.
Durant has been so skinny his entire career that he has been nicknamed the Slim Reaper. He is looking to change that after some recently released photos show him looking ripped.
Just a few of the comments:
“Historic season approaching.”
“I am not going to front: i didnt think dude lifted weights. He is lowkey looking bigger in those pics.”
“What is he doing with those weights?”
“Dude waited his entire career to add 10 pounds of muscle.”
“That boy done picked up a weight y’all.”
“Hope he goes crazy this season.”
“That’s more muscle than I ever seen on Durant.”
“Oh KD wanna bulk?”
“Why KD looking jacked, bro.”
“Bro I don’t even have an excuse to not gym if even KD is getting ripped.”
The 12-time NBA All-Star just finished up his second season playing for the Nets. He signed with the franchise in 2019 to pair up with Kyrie Irving, but he missed the first season due to injury.
This past season, he averaged 29.9 points per game on over 51% shooting from the field. He also dished out a career-high 6.4 assists per contest.
However, things went bad as the Nets were swept in the first round of the NBA Playoffs by Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics. In the two seasons that Durant has played in Brooklyn, they have won just one playoff series.
