A boy attending his first WNBA game went viral for how brutally honest he was while being interviewed. The poor interviewer tried her best to get the young child to show support for the Chicago Sky.
Seemingly part of the Boys & Girls Club, the boy admitted that he had never heard of the Chicago Sky and was only excited about the food.
INTERVIEWER: “You look like you’re here with a bunch of friends. Are these all your friends?”
INTERVIEWER: “Do you like the Chicago Sky? It looks like you do.”
BOY: “I have never heard of this group. I have never heard of this.”
INTERVIEWER: “You know they won the championship, right?”
INTERVIEWER: “Well, now you do.”
BOY: “Now I do but I still don’t really know anything else.”
INTERVIEWER: “What are you looking forward to today with this group?”
BOY: “The buffet!”
INTERVIEWER: “We should get you on the court today, huh?”
INTERVIEWER: “Let me see how you shoot your threes.”
BOY: “I don’t shoot threes.”
Already trailing the New York Liberty 1-0 in their first-round playoff series, the Chicago Sky suffered another blow Friday when star Kahleah Copper exited practice with an apparent non-contact injury ahead of Saturday’s Game 2.
The WNBA’s defending champions find themselves in a precarious situation as they look to make their way back into the series.
