The Seahawks will begin a new era officially two weeks from Monday.
Russell Wilson was traded this offseason to the Denver Broncos and now he is seemingly taking subtle shots at his former team. Speaking today at the Broncos’ kickoff luncheon, Wilson said part of the appeal of joining Denver was not having to carry the team on his shoulders alone.
The Broncos reporter who shared this quote has since deleted it, not long after Richard Sherman shared his reaction.
DiLalla would soon share a clarification of sorts since it sounded like he phrased his tweet to make Wilson’s comments sound worse than they actually were.
Seattle finished at 7–10 last season as Wilson tallied 3,113 yards, 25 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
